 President’s Pitch

Is it spring or did we skip it and go straight to summer!  April Fools, winter is back, maybe,  it depends where you live. My advice is just stick your head out the door and see what’s happening.

It's that time again to prepare for summer leagues.  May is just around the corner and your league director is working on arranging court clean up and the summer pitching schedule.  Have you contacted your Club director yet?  Do you know if all your teammates are returning? Help the league directors out and contact them as soon as possible to see where you can help.

You can also find out what's going on with Colorado Horseshoes by attending the Annual CHPA membership meeting this Saturday April 4th. It will be held at the same location as last year.

April 4, 2026 - 10:00AM - 12:00PM

You are welcome to physically attend or sign up for virtual access.  We use Google Meet and it will be administered by Lee Stevenson.  If you are interested please email him to receive an invite. Once you have that link you can attend using your phone, tablet or computer.

We will be discussing our State events at this meeting. Also any club issues that need to be addressed. If you would like to speak at the meeting please let me know so I can add you to the agenda. Check the CHPA Calendar of events after Wednesday of this week,  I will post the  agenda.

The deadline for World tournament entries is May 18th. You may enter at any time prior to that date. Entries received with a postmark after May 18th shall be put on a waiting list and entered into the tournament only as space is available.

That’s it for now.  See you at the pits.
