Special Update

The COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic is rapidly changing the way that we think, act, gather, learn and live our daily lives. Yes, that also means how we play horseshoes. With the most recent declaration from the Colorado Department of Health, effect immediately, no person shall organize or stage events or gathering of 10 or more participants. The Colorado Horseshoe Pitchers Association has cancelled all tournaments through April 19. We will continue to monitor this situation and keep you informed. Please stay in touch by visiting the CHPA website for updates. It's that time again to head indoors for the first indoor tournament, Denver Doubles on October 11th.  Please check the CHPA calendar for more information on this event and upcoming events.  FYI, this year’s Winter Freeze and the 2026 New Years tournaments switched to a SINGLES event.  2026 membership renewals and new memberships are being taken now and will be good until December 31, 2026.   Take care of that now before the holiday rush and craziness start.  2026 membership applications are available on the CHPA website and at the Knaub arena or you can visit the NHPA website to renew online.
